Reconciliation – Day 30 (Don’t Yell)

August 30th, 2013
My stepsister brought her kids over after 6:30am. This time I was able to feed them the Chex cereal she’d brought over, because my husband bought some sugar yesterday.
My husband dropped the older one at his bus stop and our kids followed their normal routine. I had all four school aged kids in and out of the shower before 6am. Now tell me that isn’t amazing (at your own risk), especially with our record of running late.

Reconciliation – Day 29 (So just leave)

August 29th, 2013
My stepsister brought her kids over at 6:11 am, because her mother and my father went out of town. She’d wanted them to spend the night, but that’s just more work for me and I haven’t any reason to work harder (such as in the form of payment, people that work late get overtime). My husband wanted to talk.

Reconciliation – Day 28 (Defensive)

I played World of Warcraft for a few hours today. My servers are Undermine, Mannoroth, and Sargeras. Today I played on Mannoroth. I created a dwarf shaman. I got her to level 12 before being interrupted to go to my daughter’s appointment. My husband asked if I cut the computer off and I lied.

Reconciliation- Day 27 (The Verge of Passing Out)

Reconciliation – Day 26 (Hostage)

August 26th, 2013
First Day of school. My alarm on my phone was set for 4:40am and then it had the nerve to actually sound. I hit the home key 3 times once every 10 minutes. It stopped bugging me at 5:10. I got up at 5:20. I woke all the kids and they took turns showering, it took forever, which is probably why I set my alarm for 4:40 (for the first day of school’s chaos).

Reconciliation – Day 25 (Defeated)

I panicked when I woke at 6:36am this morning because I thought it was Monday and past time for the kids to start getting ready for school. I made my husband’s bacon and he made pancakes for everyone. I wished I had known there was some milk that I could have had with my pancakes.

Reconciliation – Day 24 (Feeling Grounded)

August 24th, 2013
Saturday. I made an effort to not get up early. I was able to stall waking up by about an hour. 7:30ish am still might be early, but I can’t do much better. If I ever sleep past 9am, someone should check my pulse. Lol.
